The SACOTA enquiry system functions as a platform facilitating enquiries regarding the procurement of grains, oilseeds, and processed products. Member companies of SACOTA are provided with individualised login credentials for their respective traders. Traders utilise these credentials to access the system, where they set filters and specifications for enquiries they are able to handle.
Upon submission of an enquiry, the system automatically filters it based on the specified criteria, subsequently emailing the relevant traders whose specifications align with the enquiry.
The enquirer will receive an email notifying him/her whether the enquiry was matched with one or more traders. The trader(s) will contact the enquirer at his/her earliest convenience.
